MORE THAN A FAMOUS BEACH
A harbour waking to the sound of ropes and coffee cups. A white-stone village. A long lunch that changes the afternoon’s plans. Brač is an island to get to know, not simply to photograph. Start with the coast, then follow your curiosity inland.

A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE
Above the coastline, the story opens up. Look towards the sea from Vidova Gora, make time for Škrip, and let an inland road become part of the holiday rather than a shortcut through it.

Saltwater, stone and the pleasures of a slower table. Our starting points for a more considered stay.

Brač is not a one-beach island. Choose the shore for the day you actually want: an iconic landscape, an easy town swim, or a slower outing with more planning and fewer assumptions.

Brač becomes richer when you look inland. Stone villages, collections and a remote hermitage tell a story that cannot be reduced to a beach photograph. Choose fewer stops and…

The most interesting Brač table is not necessarily the one closest to the water. Follow the island inland as well as along the coast: olive oil, lamb, local wine and a village…

Suggested routes, with room to change your mind. Sailing times, access and seasonal services must be checked for your dates.
Choose one base. Give the first day to your town, the second to the coast, and the third to one inland visit before a carefully timed departure.
Explore the itinerariesAdd Pučišća and Škrip to your coastal days. Reserve a separate outing for Vidova Gora when the conditions suit, rather than racing between every landmark.
Explore the itinerariesLeave whole mornings unplanned. Add a second coast, a producer visit and time to return to a place you liked. Consider Blaca only after confirming current access.
Explore the itinerariesBrač is a Croatian island in central Dalmatia, off the coast near Split. It is not in Kvarner; that is a different region of the northern Adriatic.
The principal vehicle-ferry routes are Split–Supetar and Makarska–Sumartin, operated by Jadrolinija. Passenger-only services to Bol depend on the operator and season. Check the actual timetable and booking rules for your date.
No. Zlatni Rat is a pebble beach near Bol. Lovrečina, near Postira, is a sandy alternative worth considering when sand matters to your trip.
Not necessarily for a stay centred on one town and its local beaches. A car or arranged transport becomes more useful for inland villages and several coasts. Check current buses and transfers before booking a car-free itinerary.
We suggest at least three nights for a first stay, five for a broader introduction, and a week for a slower rhythm. These are editorial suggestions, not a requirement to visit every part of the island.

CONTINUE YOUR ADRIATIC STORY
Brač belongs to Dalmatia. For a separate northern-Adriatic journey, discover Kvarner: Rijeka, Opatija and the islands of Krk, Cres, Lošinj and Rab. A different region, a different kind of coast.
